What is Quality Check (QC)?

– A quality check is conducted when the seller ships the orders to the drop off station. One of Jumia’s representatives will inspect your products and check the following:

  1. Product packaging
  2. Your physical product matches the details in the product’s page on JUMIA website.

– The objective of quality inspection is divided into two parts:

Protecting the customer from receiving wrong/defective/used products and avoiding customer dissatisfaction.

Protecting you from product returns, low seller score, and losing customers.

B. One of Jumia’s representatives at the hub(s) will make sure that your product matches the item listed on the product’s page on JUMIA website

  • Brand
  • Colour
  • Size
  • Model
  • Other specifications (weight/length / etc.)

 

Instances of your products failing quality check at the hub:

– The product and/or the packaging is faulty.

– The product is different from the one on the Vendor Center.

– Counterfeit product.

– Used product

– Your product is missing items as described in your content e.g. free offers
