Holiday Mode

Jumia cares about you, that’s why we created the Holiday mode for you. Learn here how you could use the Holiday mode when needed.

What is the Holiday mode?

You can use the Holiday Mode feature to temporarily close your online store on Jumia. You can benefit from this feature in the following cases:

• You are on holiday for a predefined period and you won’t be able to fulfill the orders you receive.
• You don’t have enough product stock and want to stop displaying your products on the website.
• Holiday Mode prevents you from receiving purchase orders you cannot fulfill, which prevents you from getting penalties and improves your Seller Score.

Step 1:

A/Access your Vendor Center- click on settings

Step 2:

B/Choose holiday mode, and confirm your holiday duration,Your marketplace will automatically be closed from the date of the beginning of your holiday, and will be automatically reactivated after the end date.

Please note that you need to process any pending orders before activating your holiday mode to avoid out-of-stock cancelation that will impact your marketplace rating.
