Holiday Mode
Jumia cares about you, that’s why we created the Holiday mode for you. Learn here how you could use the Holiday mode when needed.
What is the Holiday Mode?
You can use the Holiday Mode feature to temporarily close your online store on Jumia. You can benefit from this feature in the following cases:
- You are on holiday for a predefined period and you won’t be able to fulfill the orders you receive.
- You don’t have enough product stock and want to stop displaying your products on the website.
- Holiday Mode prevents you from receiving orders you cannot fulfil, which prevents you from getting penalties and improves your Seller Score.
How to activate Holiday Mode?
From your Vendor Center click on Settings → Users
Under “Seller Settings” go to the bottom of the page to find the option “Holidays” as below.
Then simply enter your start and end dates and click on save. Your Jumia shop will be automatically deactivated during this period. It will also be automatically reactivated once the period has passed.
Important tips for setting your store to holiday mode:
-Always input the accurate dates.
-Always set the holiday mode at least 1 day before your official start date.
