GTIN barcode product requirement
GTIN_barcode is a mandatory field at product creation, for all products that have a barcode printed on their packaging.
The list of brands and categories for which gtin_barcode field is mandatory can be found here
Each GTIN barcode is unique for a product. Therefore, you cannot create more than one product with the same gtin barcode. If you try to create a product with a gtin_barcode that already exists for another product in your Jumia account, you will receive an error. You should use the existing product for this gtin_barcode, or delete it if the listing has a mistake.
